The goal for this activity is to provide training programs, resources, and tools for public information officers (PIOs) or anyone serving as a PIO during an emergency or a disaster. The JIC training and resources will enable personnel to establish a JIC during an incident or event. This toolkit emphasizes helping communities share resources and interact with the media.
