 Public Health Emergency Response: An Overview of the IDPH Incident Management System

                Course Description and Objectives:                       

•             Have you ever wondered how IDPH “responds” to emergencies?

•             IDPH has a robust emergency response structure called the Incident Management System (IMS).

•             This system is used to organize and coordinate IDPH’s response to public health emergencies.

•             Learn about the components of the Incident Management System, how IDPH manages responses to the public health emergencies, and skill sets needed for IMS personnel.

•             This introductory course is open to all IDPH personnel.

Additional Comments:   This is a face-to-face class in Des Moines, Iowa; not an online class.  This training will be offered twice this year.
