Course Description and Learning Objectives:
This two-day course will assist participants in preparing to fill the role of public information officer for an organization. Completion of the course will allow:
1. Participants to define their role as PIO in their respective organizations.
2. Participants will gain understanding in working a media environment.
3. Understanding the need for timely and efficient response to request for information.
4. Ensuring outcomes for all parties are positive.
